After discovering Burlesque in late 2011, Cherry was amazed by how much her confidence grew and in early 2012 she decided to delve into the world of Pole Dance as well!
Bringing these elements together (Polesque) in both her teaching and performing, Cherry has found a way to empower women and loves seeing their confidence grow as hers has.

Mary has been dancing for 14 years now and throughout this time has taken part and placed in numerous eisteddfods and concerts, this experience has helped immensely with the dance and choreography aspects of pole.
Now Pole is a passion of hers too that she hopes to be doing for as long as she can, the idea of a fun way to get fit drew Mary in and the encouraging and positive environment that diamond class pole and fitness provides has kept her coming back and is what makes her so proud to be apart of a wonderful studio!
Sarah began teaching her own classes at the Studio in January 2015 and at the same time joined the Studio’s performance troupe The Diamonds of Polesque.
Sarah is always involved in the many Studio events and competitions and was Stage Manager at the Miss Pole Dance Tasmania 2015 (state leg of National Competition).
Pole is Sarah’s personal pick me up, the favourite part of her day. Sarah loves that it challenges her, both mentally and physically but also offers and outlet for creativity. Through pole dancing she has gained all over body strength, fitness and flexibility and continue to do so. Pole has not only bought an added and ongoing element of happiness to her life but a deeper sense of self-confidence too.

Pole Dancing Achievements
Louise (aka Wendy-Lou) began pole fitness in January 2015 and immediately loved it. Having a background in team sports, gym training, and rock climbing, Wendy-Lou had very little dance experience but was determined to try a completely different type of fitness. Pole was a team mentality with fitness but additionally offered fun, musicality, and varying styles.
When she moved to Tassie in April 2016 she quickly found Diamond Class Pole and Fitness Studio to be her favourite place to be, she joined the Diamond family in September 2016, and loves being part of DC pole.
In 2017 Louise is beginning her Cert III in Fitness and brings her enthusiasm, passion to help and teach, along with her intensive Diamond Instructor Accredited Pole training expertise to add to the sparkly team of instructors at Diamond Class.
Emily has danced since the age of 5 and thinks there is no better way to express yourself.
Having tried Disco, Jazz, Hip Hop and Modern Ballet, she then tried a little Ballroom before giving pole a go. While she is a performer at heart, she finds more enjoyment from teaching and helping students achieve their goals. While Emily doesn’t have a favourite style of dance, she finds contemporary the most diverse and the easiest to tell a story.
“I may not have the strength yet to wow people with an incredible pole move, but I sure can make you smile or feel a bit emotional through a dance performance.”
Emily was a valued instructor back when we were in North Hobart a few years back and then took a break from dance/teaching. She has now returned as she missed us too much … we knew she couldn’t stay away too long and super happy to have her bubbly self back on the sparkly team
